Money leaves.
Nobody remembers
where it went.

Paisa records every rupee with what you bought, why you bought it, where from and at what hour — then turns a month of that into named, costed changes. Not charts to admire. Instructions with a price on them.

The honest version

Tracking apps fail
because they only
keep score.

You already know you spent too much. A pie chart telling you “Food: 34%” changes nothing, because nothing in it is a decision you can make tomorrow morning.

Paisa was built the other way round. It captures the detail that makes a spend explainable — the reason, the hour, the shop, whether you regretted it — and then converts a month of that into sentences like “cut Zepto from nine orders to five and keep ₹1,360.”

How it works

Record. Understand. Change.

Three moves, in order. Most apps stop after the first.

1

Record it in ten seconds

Amount, category, a two-word note. Itemise a basket when you want each thing priced separately, with delivery and packing kept apart from the goods. The why field is the one that pays off — in a month you will not remember why ₹640 left on a Tuesday, and that is exactly the money that vanishes.

2

Watch one number, not twenty

Safe to spend today — your budget, minus what you have spent, minus the bills still due, divided by the days remaining. One figure you can act on before you tap “order”, instead of a verdict delivered on the 30th.

3

Act on a number with a name on it

The coach reads your own entries and ranks what to change, each with a monthly and yearly rupee value. Cap the two shops that actually run away from you. Park impulse buys for a day and watch a third of them die on their own.

What you get

Built for the way
money actually leaves

Safe to spend today

Budget minus spent minus committed bills, over the days that are left. Updated the second you record anything.

The leak finder

Anywhere you bought from three or more times, with the yearly total attached. Frequency is what makes small orders expensive, not the individual price.

The 24-hour list

Park what you want instead of buying it. Decide again when the urge is gone. It keeps a running total of the money you kept by waiting.

Cash reconciliation

Count what is physically in the house and it tells you how much went out unlogged. That gap is usually the whole answer to “where did it go”.

Household support ledger

If someone sends a fixed sum each month, it keeps a dated account: full or short, on time or late, by how many days, on which date.

Every angle, charted

Category, shop, payment mode, online versus offline, hour of day, day of week, a calendar heatmap and six months of trend.

A pie chart says food is 34%.
Paisa says cut Zepto from nine orders to five
and keep ₹16,320 this year.

No internet

Works in aeroplane mode. Always has.

No servers

There is nowhere for your data to be leaked from.

One tap exports everything as JSON or CSV.

Privacy is the architecture

Your spending is
nobody else's
business.

Household spending is among the most revealing data a person produces. Where you shop, what you eat, when you are ill, who you support.

Paisa never sends any of it anywhere, because it has nowhere to send it to. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier. The only permission it asks for is notifications, so it can warn you when you cross a limit.

Start tonight

Log one month
without judging yourself.

That is the whole ask. After thirty days the app will tell you, in rupees, exactly which habits to change — and you will already know it is right, because it is only repeating what you typed.
